Eliza Fitzhugh,
Principal
Eliza is driven by a deep commitment to creating lasting social impact, a belief in the power of design to envision possibilities and solve complex challenges, and a systems-thinking approach that connects ideas to action. She thrives at the intersection of design and strategy. As a project and design lead, she has partnered with leaders of organizations such as Starbucks, The Data & Trust Alliance, American Express, Ralph Lauren and The Obama Foundation—helping them set vision, articulate bold strategies, and reinvent their cultures.
Prior to joining SYP, Eliza designed immersive, large-scale exhibitions for cultural and corporate institutions throughout New York, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. Her ability to craft meaningful experiences stems from her dual foundation in Art History (B.A., Colorado College) and Graphic Design (M.F.A., Rhode Island School of Design).
Now based in Vermont with her husband and two children, Eliza serves on the Board of Directors for a local performing arts hub, where she helps nurture creative expression in her mountain community.
